URGENT: Attend Practical of BSCG/BSCM from 17 Aug 2026 onwards: Fill Google Form and join Whatsapp Group
Dear Learners of BSC (BSCG, BSCM, BSCBCH..),
We are now planning to conduct BSCG/BSCM practical shortly at the following Study Centres:
1. SC2705 DAV PG College Dehradun: To start from 17 Aug 2026
2. SC2711 MB PG College Haldwani: To start within 1-2 weeks
3. SC2705 (Work Centre at SGRR PG College Dehradun for Geology Practical): To start from 17 Aug 2026
It is also to inform you that Practical of each course is of 7 days (6 days counselling, plus last day of practical exam). Above 75% attendence is compulsory.
As informed earlier, the learners who are enrolled in Jan 2023, July 2023 and onwards sessions are required to pay fee for Practical courses @Rs. 300/- per course. Through this Google Form, you are also required to convey status of your fee submission.
After getting data from Google Form, we will prepare Practical Counselling Schedule and communicate through Whatsapp group and website of IGNOU RC Dehradun (

Further, kindly note the following: 1. Practical of BSC will be conducted at SC2705 Dehradun/ Rc31 SGRR PG College Dehradun as per schedule mentioned above from 17 Aug 2026
2. Learners of Geology and Geography are advised to attend practical of Geology / Geography with priority, because Practical of Geology / Geography are held only once in a year while that of Phy/Chem/Zool/Bot are conducted more frequently. i.e., If you have overlap of Geology / Geography practical with other subject, you should attend Practical of Geology / Geography. If there is overlap between Geology and Geography, you should attend Geology. Geography can be conducted again if required (in such case)
3. Learners from Sc2711 or Kumaon region are advised to attend practical of Geology at Dehradun as the practical of Geology will not be conducted at Haldwani.
4. In the coming days, at Haldwani, practical of Physics 3rd year will be conducted, and practical of other subjects will be conducted in Feb 2027. Hence, if there is any learner of Sc2711/2726 (Kuoamon region, whose validity is expiring soon, s/he is strongly advised to attend practical (of Zoology/Botany/Chemistry ) at Dehradun.
5. Regarding status of fee submission, we will discuss about if once the learners report for practical on 17 Aug 2026
6. At Dehradun, Practical of Physics (all courses) will be conducted in Oct 2026 (as at present Practical of MSC Physics are scheduled at SC2705 Dehradun till 30 Sep 2026.
7. Although Practical of Chemistry/Zoology/Botany will be conducted as per above-mentioned schedule, there may be certain modification once data is received through the Google Form. We will make batches after getting data from the Google Form. All learners are therefore advised to fill Google Form otherwise their name will not be included in the batch for different courses.
