1. If you have paid fees and have opted to attend Convocation, you should fill Google Form so that we may be sure about their participation in the Convocation scheduld on 7 April 2026, and make the necessary arrangement.
2. Those who have paid fee but opted to get degree by post, and now they are willing to receive degree at the Convocation, they should also fill this Google Form and mark their new option to receive degree at the Convocation..
3. If you have not paid fee till date in online mode, and want to receive degree in the Convocation, you may submit fee (@600/-) through a demand draft (made in favour of "IGNOU Dehradun") and submit it at Regional Centre, Tapovan Dehradun Office on 4 April 2026 (till 4pm), we will include your name for the Convocation. If you are unable to make demand draft, you may visit Regional Centre, Tapovan Dehradun till 4 April 2026 (4pm), we may help you to make payment in Online Mode at the Regional Centre. In both the cases, fill this Google form after submitting demand draft or making online payment at the Regional Centre.
Before filling the Google Form, please note your Index Serial from this list and mention it in the Google Form.
After receiving your entries, we will make the final list of participants for the Convocation (to be held on 7 April 2026). Accordingly we will make necessary arrangement for sitting/ mini refreshment for these learners (who will give consent to attend the function). We will share the list of the learners who will attend the Convocation in the Whatsapp Group as well as on IGNOU RC Dehradun Website at http://rcdehradun.ignou.ac.in/

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO RECEIVE DEGREE AFTER THE CONVOCATION:
For the learners who have paid fee online but do not attend the Convocation for any reason: We will send their degrees by post on their postal address from 20 April 2026 onwards. However, if they want to collect it by hand from Regional Centre, they may visit IGNOU Regional Centre, Tapovan, Dehradun during 13 April to 17 April 2026. They need to bring their ID card and screenshot of their payment details. The local learners (living in Dehradun) are advised to attend Convocation to receive degree or physically visit Regional Centre to collect it.
For the learners who could not apply online for degrees till date: Such learners are hereby informed that the link to apply for degrees of 39th Convocation will be made available in the main website of the University few days after the Convocation. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THOSE WHO WILL ATTEND CONVOCATION ON 7TH APRIL 2026
Reporting time at the venue is 10am (on 7th April 2026). However, it will be better if you can reach the venue between 9:45am to 10am. We will close entry at 10:30am. The programme will start at 11am. It is expected to end at 1:30pm.
Instructions for Attending the Convocation Ceremony:
1. You need to carry your ID Card (IGNOU ID Card or Aadhar Card) with you.
2. Before entering the Convocation Hall, you will be given a Convocation Scarf at the Registartion Counter of Convocation Venue. For this you have to deposit Rs. 300/- as security deposit. Wearing Scarf is mandatory to enter the Convocation Hall. The security money (Rs. 300/-) will be returned at the end of the Convocation. Only CASH will be accepted. Please bring the change. Online and other mode payment will not be accepted.
3. As Dress Code, it is desirable that you wear Indian Paridhan. But if you do not have any such dress, you may wear any formal dress (avoid Jeans, T-shirt or similar informal clothes).
4. Photography will not be allowed by the learners. Inside the Convocation Hall, we will depute a Camera Man, you can purchase your photo from him on very nominal rates.
5. We have sitting arrangement only for the learners. Cannot provide seats to family members/friends. However, if seats remain available (after providing seats to learners) in the Convocation Hall, we may allow your family members.
6. Please do not bring small kids, as it is a formal programme; and sanctity of the programme has to be maintained.
7. At the end of the programme (expected at 1:30pm), degree holders will be given a mini refreshment packet.
